Early Childhood Music Classes – Birmingham First United Methodist Church is offering a series of early childhood music classes for newborns to children three years of age. Parents and children participate in activities that are playful, interactive and research proven to build a child’s aptitude for music. Bouncing, wiggling, tickling, moving and singing are all activities that might seem ordinary enough. But the science behind them and the brain patterns that are being developed are life-changing. Studies found that musical experiences in childhood can actually accelerate brain development, particularly in the areas of language and reading skills.

Classes are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays – 10am-10:45am
