Canterbury Open Air Markets – every weekend, featuring shopping, art, music and more!

Come visit the Open Air Markets located on 21 wide open outdoor acres at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion. The street markets will showcase the work of local artists, crafters, cooks, jewelers, musicians and much more. It’s a perfect chance to enjoy the great outdoors while shopping local and discovering uniquely Metro Detroit and Michigan Made items. In addition, all the shops within the Canterbury Village Marketplace will be open including the new women’s boutique, The Wooden Tulip, MI Oily Cottage, Palletopia by Christi and more! Several delicious and unique food options and vendors will be available as well as the best patio in the area at the C-Pub Bar and Grill. Yates Cider Mill will also be serving delicious cider, donuts, ice cream, and fudge! Each weekend at the Open Air Markets will feature a different theme that will have special vendors incorporated and spaced throughout Canterbury Village that fully encompass the theme and experience for attendees.

The grounds operate under social distancing guidelines for the benefit of employees and guests. The market has been set up with additional sanitization and safety measures in accordance with the State of Michigan’s current guidelines and restrictions, with regards to COVID-19. Masks are required. Restrooms will be available onsite and will follow strict cleanliness and capacity guidelines maintained by Canterbury Village attendants. Outdoor coolers, food, and drinks will not be permitted.
