Food Tales: Enemy Pie
This summer at Ford House, reading comes with a side of art and a snack to match.
Every week, we’re reading a food-themed picture book and making art inspired by the story. A new book, a new project, a new reason to get a little messy. Children ages 4 and up are welcome.
This week’s pick is “Enemy Pie,” by Derek Munson. A story about friendship and the surprising ways it can take root, even between rivals. After the story, children will create their own artwork inspired by the book’s themes.
Snacks are included, because of course they are. This program is designed for children ages 4 and up. If your child is 3 or younger, the free Storytime on Tuesday mornings is a wonderful fit.
Date: Thursday, July 30, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Cost: $5 – $7
