Make the most of Michigan summer nights during Wednesdays Were Made for This at the Detroit Zoo. On select Wednesdays from June through August, families can enjoy extended evening hours with access to animal habitats and buildings until 8 p.m.

Guests can relax with live music in the Main Picnic Grove from 6-7:30 p.m., grab dinner or snacks from food and beverage vendors, browse retail shops and enjoy late-night access to rides and attractions. Favorites including Dinosauria and the Fred and Barbara Erb Discovery Trails remain open throughout the evening, offering plenty of ways for families to explore as the weather cools down.

The event is included with Zoo admission and is free for Detroit Zoo members.
