DESCRIPTION:Dive into hands-on\, seasonal science exploration with our Homeschool Series. Each session will focus on a different topic\, providing opportunities for indoor and outdoor discovery of the natural world. Come ready to be active in the outdoors and bring your curiosity about nature\, too! Register for one date or all! \nWhat to Expect:\nThis program starts indoors\, ends outside. The time\, approximately 60 minutes\, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. Expect to walk from .5 mile to 1.5 miles. The planned path surface is gravel and occasionally steep. A group interactive activity or game with instructions may be involved. \nAges: Children 6 – 12. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.\nTime: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.\nCost: $5 per child\, adults are Free!\nLocation: Stony Creek Metropark\, Nature Center \nPre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
