Collect eggs to trade for goodies\, make a craft\, get your EGGSercise with our HOPstacle course\, and play carnival-style games with your family! Rather than a free-for-all egg hunt\, the Village egg collection is structured with each family collecting eggs in a designated lane one at a time\, so each child gets the same chance. Activities at this event are appropriate for ages 3 – 10\, but we’re sure kids of all ages will find something fun! \nSpring Egg Hunt is held rain or shine\, so please dress for the weather! Activities are planned to be both inside and outside buildings. We will be monitoring the weather and move all activities in doors if necessary! \nFor accessibility information\, please contact us at info@thvmail.org\, or call us at the Village 248-524-3570. \n\nWhat to Expect\nWhen you arrive\, please check in inside the Main Building (large red brick building facing Wattles). Please be sure to arrive with your whole party at your scheduled reservation time. You can also purchase tickets inside this building as well. Once you check in\, you will be given an overview of the program\, then hop out to the Village to begin the fun! \nYou can expect activities like: \n\nGather eggs at your own pace in individual lanes\nMake a spring–themed craft\nTest your agility skills in the HOPstacle course\nPlay spring themed carnival games\nAdmire the early blooms in the Village gardens and explore the historic grounds\nTake a family photo at our photo station\n\nAt the end of your program\, you will exit through the gate on the side of the main building. We will have green signs to help direct your path. \n\nFrequently Asked Questions\n\nWill the Easter Bunny be at this program? No\, the Village is not on the Easter Bunny’s trail\, but we have lots of other fun spring activities!\nCan I get a refund for this program? Due to the cost of producing the program and transaction fees\, we can only offer a 50% refund up your request. We do not offer full refunds for this program unless we (the Village) cancels or reschedules the program. We would also be happy to convert your registration into a tax-deductible donation and send a receipt upon request.\nDo I need to bring a bag to collect goodies? Thanks to our generous program sponsor\, Genisys Credit Union\, we will be providing 1 bag per family to carry all your goodies! So\, you can bring your own bag or basket\, but you don’t need one! You wont be taking plastic eggs home – you will exchange the plastic eggs for toys or candy.\nCan I bring a stroller or a wagon? Yes! We have a paved sidewalk throughout the Village. You are welcome to take the strollers and wagons inside the buildings (each one has a ramp entrance)\, and we ask that you are mindful about the spaces inside when driving the stroller or wagon through.\nCan I bring my dog? Only service animals are allowed at the Village. We strive to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable\, so please leave your pets at home.\nHow long does it take to go through the event? The average time to go through our Spring Egg Hunt is about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on how much you and your group are engaging in the activities!\nDo you have quiet spaces to go if one of my group members needs a sensory break? Yes! Inside the Caswell House on the main floor or upstairs at the Parsonage. You can also ask us when you arrive – THV Staff and volunteers are ready and prepared to try and help accommodate your needs!\nWhat happens if I miss my time slot? Can I still come? Yes! Please do. Our last admission for Friday is 6:50pm\, and last admission for Saturday is 2:20pm.\nMy family doesn’t celebrate Easter\, can we still come? Yes! Please do. Our Spring Egg Hunt focuses on spring themes and activities where all are welcome regardless of religion.\n\n\nParking & Directions\nThe Troy Historic Village is located at 60 W. Wattles Road\, Troy MI 48098 (northwest corner of Wattles and Livernois).
