Independent readers ages 8-12 can pick up books at the Youth Services Desk beginning Thursday, Jan. 2 for a special Kids’ Book Club event on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. with local author A. Kidd. She will lead the discussion on her book, The Healing Star and share her experience and inspiration as a writer. A Visit from the Tooth Fairy at the Royal Oak Public Library
